to me truth is never changing...it's permanent...it's forever....something that is so firm that you can trust it to never change....it's something you can lean on when you need it...cuz it's final....and it's forever...there are very few things in this world that fall into that category...if any.....so for me it boils down to this...God is truth....God's son is truth....and his gospel is truth...just a thought...
Truth is absolute. Something that is in agreement with fact or reality. The physical laws of the universe represent truth. For example, it is true that gravity will always act upon us to keep us on the ground. Likewise, there is spiritual truth revealed to us in the Word of God. For example, the sacrifice of Christ in our place demonstrates God's love. THAT IS TRUTH!
*looks to see what the bible says about it*...*Thinks what she really thinks about it*...Well, one thing I've found out about truth is that it's precious. God said to buy it and never sell it. Like, it's important...What God speaks is Truth....God is truth (Isaiah 65:16). The bible is truth (Daniel 10:21)...We are to love truth (Zechariah 8:19). Jesus was "full of truth" (John 1:14). If we live in the truth, we will come into the light and see "plainly that what he has done has been done through God." (John 3:21)...The truth will set us free (John 8:32)...The devil has NO truth (John 8:44)...Anyway, tons of other things too.
I never really thought about like truth. I've been thinking about it recently after reading this blog and like reading up about what YA this year will be centered on... and so yea. I must say I am very excited to learn more about truth and what God says about truth...

Oh, and I wanted to add to my post one more thing...I'm really excited about this b/c one thing that I've been really trying to do is like talk to myself the truth...they talked about that in "The cross centered life". I'm trying to like not listen to myself and listen to the lies, but talk to myself the truth. So I think this will also help with that!

Sometimes we take things and think there truth and,sometimes we think things are a lie and, they tun out to be truth . in the end what will we measure truth by? our standard (what we see, hear or, know)or,Gods standard (the bible).haven't you lied I know I have lied a lot, but, God never lies he always keeps his promises. who are you gonna measure truth by someone who lies or some one who always tells the truth ?
I think that a good question Hannah...We need to get more ppl to post on this blog!

Absolute Truth......God said in his Word that it He IS TRUTH....He is the ESSENCE OF TRUTH.....That is really cool to think and ponder on.....WOW!!!! Hannah that is a q's never thought about it like that! I can't wait to hear about this topic.....hONESTLY I never really thought about truth before....what a awsome topic to teach on.....Yeah!!!! 14 more days!!!!!:)
